Artist, creator of street art, graphic designer, known primarily from the project m-city, ie. The murals executed on the walls of buildings in urban spaces. He born in 1978 in Gdynia.
Mariusz Waras is also an archivist (collector) of Polish street art. In Gdynia runs the billboard gallery "238x504". He studied at the Graphics Department of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk, where he now works as an assistant of prof. George Ostrogórski in painting studio. In 2005, he was in the final of the seventh edition of the painting Competition. Eugeniusz Geppert, organized in Wroclaw.
Waras should certainly come to the forefront of street-art. With the project m-city created hundreds of murals, usually on the external walls of buildings in cities around the world-from Gdansk, through Berlin, after Jakarta. Less often creates them inside the gallery - on exhibitions (eg. "In Poland, that is, where?", Centre for Contemporary Art Ujazdowski Castle, Warsaw 2006; "The Power of Fantasy", BOZAR, Brussels 2011) and individual (Centre for Contemporary Art , Gdańsk 2006, Gdańsk City Gallery, 2010).
The main theme of his work is a cityscape.
